Base Training

The trainings are a combination of Molchanovs Base Training and my experience. The goal is to make your training as efficient as possible and show you how to train properly and progressively at home. There is a maximum of 2 freedivers in each line. We want the training to be as personal as possible, which is why the maximum number of freedivers in one training is 8. I will have enough time for each of you.

Dry preparation

How much of time do you think the freedivers spend on training in the water?

People often think that training takes place mainly in the water. Take a breath, swim somewhere and again. But this is not really the case. Dry preparation is irreplaceable. The main goal is to introduce you to techniques and exercises that contribute to the development of the physical and mental strenght, which you will be able to perform correctly and safely at home. After each session, you will have a home training plan ready for the whole week, which will evolve according to your abilities.

The basis of freediving is detailed theoretical knowledge and the best possible technical skills. Equalization exercises, video analysis of freedives, stretching and strengthening of respiratory muscles, prolongation of apnea. Dry preparation lasts one hour and is before in water training. We will go to the pool ready, warmed up and with a clear plan.

Is dry preparation important? Definitely yes! Is it boring? Not at all!

Swimming pool

The main component will of course be the classic pool disciplines - static and dynamic. But not only that.

Dynamic: Freedivers can be divided according to performance. You will not do too easy or too difficult exercises. Training leading to maximum performance is structured and is evolving. I am in the water with you throughout the whole training and we will tune the technique to the last detail. Comfortable position before the freedive, correct buoyancy, body position, kicking, duck dive, turn. All of this is important to work on all the time, because performance is affected by every little detail.

Static: Static is really special and I like it very much. Being able to calm down, close yourself into your world, not move and hold your breath for as long as possible is an absolutely amazing experience. I will be happy to share with you very sophisticated training methods and exercises.

Something else? Yes! There are lots of other fun excersises and activities to enjoy and move you forward. Have you ever tried to walk the longest possible distance underwater? Do you know that you can work on Free Immersion technique even in the pool?

The base trainings (not included in the price) will also include depth events to practice pressure equalization, for example in the Liberec 8.5 m deep pool and trips to the 45 m deep pool Deepspot. There will also be the opportunity to complete the depth parts of Molchanovs courses and get Wave1, 2, 3 certification, or participate in training.

Who can participate:

Age at least 16 years (with the written permission of the parent or legal guardian)
Completed medical form, or confirmation from a doctor
Freediver certification of any teaching system at least at the pool level
