Dahab

Mecca of freediving and magical Blue hole.

A small town on the Sinai Peninsula, which used to be a Bedujin fishing village, is now a place where freedivers from all over the world come to train. The whole area is actually one big divespot. If you like coral reefs and lots of colorful marine life, this is one of the top places to go. El garden, El bells, Canyon, or Islands are all world-famous and one of the most photographed places teeming with underwater beauty.

About 5 km from the town is the iconic Blue hole. This place is really special for freedivers. Yes, the Blue Hole is not deep enough for todays elite freedivers, but with its more than 90 meters it offers unique conditions for training. No currents or waves, clear water and the opportunity to train 365 days a year. If you don't want to train only, but you want to spend as much time under the water as possible, the choice of dive spots to discover is really huge.

In cooperation with Freedive Dahab center in which we worked, all the service is ready for you. Upon arrival at Sharm Airport, a driver will be waiting for you to take you directly to your place to stay in Dahab. We will use the comfort of the freediving center throughout our stay. It is just a few steps from the Lighthouse dive spot, where training buoys from 15 to 50 meters are installed. You can use the shower, rins your equipment and keep it there in your storage. The center has all the comforts. We can use the classroom, there is a place for stretching and relaxation. There are many restaurants and places to eat everywhere around. Training will not be the only activity. There will be plenty of time to explore dive spots around Dahab and a full day trip to Ras Mohammed National Marine Park near Sharm el Sheikh.
